Two years after the death of his wife, Chris Pointon has been receiving birthday cards from the wife.
Kate Granger, a doctor who specializes in elderly medicine died on on their 11th anniversary aged 34, after a five years battle with a rare form of cancer.
Chris recently turned 40 on Wednesday and he received a birthday card from the wife that reads:
To my dearest Humpty Dumpty,
'Into your 40s now, gorgeous. Has all the hair gone now?
'I love you and always will. So much.'
It was signed K xxxxxxx
Mr Pointon who said he is slowly getting used to it, is said to receive the cards until his 65th birthday.
Kate had written 27 cards and has also organized a special delivery too.
