Michelle Knight, one of three women held captive in the Cleveland, Ohio House of Horrors, revealed she is married.
The big announcement was made during an interview with Dr. Phil that is set to air April 24. Knight tied the knot to her partner Mario, 39, three years after she freed from captivity.
The exciting news comes the month before Knight's second memoir will release. The survivor's first best-selling book, 'Finding Me,' was released back in 2014. In the book, she revealed the brutal physical, mental and emotional torture that Castro subjected her to. Her new memoir, 'Life After Darkness: My Journey To Happiness,' is about hope. she said.
The happy couple tied the knot in May 2016.
Knight's second memoir, titled 'Life After Darkness: My Journey To Happiness,' is set to release in early May. The book release lands on the fifth anniversary of her escape from Castro's house in Cleveland, Ohio.
Michelle, along with Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus, were the three victims who were kidnapped in the 2002. The trio finally were freed from captivity in 2013.
Knight's best-selling book, 'Finding Me' was released in 2014. In it, she revealed the brutal physical, mental and emotional torture that Castro subjected her to, before his two other victims, Berry and DeJesus were brought into the home.
The victim recounted harrowing details about emotional punishment, in which Castro repeatedly told her: 'You're a person with no meaning'.
