Britain Faces Flood Misery As Heavy Rainfalls Across Some Areas

Britain faces nearly 60 flood alerts and warnings today after more than a third of a  month's rain fell in  some areas.

The 53 alerts and 6 more serious warnings imposed by the environment agency across England follow a heavy downpour yesterday in Yorkshire and the north east in the morning, and the south east in the afternoon.

yesterday heavy downpour saw parts of wast Yorkshire record 24mm in the 12 hours to 11am against an April average of 65mm in the north which means that the area had more than a third of a month in half a day.

As reported by daily mail, the weather will bounce back with temperatures expected to soar by the weekend warm and bright conditions are expected in many areas and it is said to be hotter than Greek island.
