Two mums from the same US city both had miscarriages before giving birth to miracle QUADRUPLETS just 11 days apart.

Kylie Szafranski and Virginia Johnson, from Phoenix, Arizona, became friends through Facebook after discovering the extraordinary resemblance of their families.

Both women are mums-of-five who suffered painful miscarriages before they welcomed quadruplets in March last year. Kylie gave birth on March 18 while Virginia delivered on March 29.

According to ABC News , the odds of giving birth to quads are around one in 800,000. Kylie, 26, and her husband Phil, 37, had three boys and one girl - Damon, Gideon, Theo, and Emery, while Virginia, 35, and her husband Victor, 45, welcomed three girls and one boy - Ava, Madelyn, Olivia and Victor Jr. Kylie is also mum to River, 4, while Virginia also has an older daughter, Zoey, 3.

The families recently celebrated their quads' first birthdays with an 'octo-baby' cake smash.

The adorable infants have grown up side-by-side, spending their first year of life celebrating their biggest milestones together - with the mums even joking that they've already 'paired them off for arranged marriages'.

The first birthday cake smash, which took place last month, saw the eight babies lined up in front of different coloured cakes which they adorably 'smashed' into and messily devoured. Stay-at-home mum Kylie said: "We had no idea that the other even existed when we were pregnant. "I had my four, and then just over a week later I saw on the local news that a woman in my area had given birth to quadruplets too. "Everyone was freaking out that there were two sets of quads born in Phoenix so closely together.

"We were actually in a mothers group together on Facebook , and eventually we began messaging each other and became friends after meeting up. "The babies would have only been a couple of weeks old when we started talking. "We were so happy that the photographer Lizzy offered to photograph all of our eight babies together. It was a great experience. "After doing the colour wheel photograph together, we decided that we'd like to keep doing milestone pictures together in the future.

"It's been so fun. The cake smash was great, they were so well behaved.

"The funniest thing was that every baby was covered in cake icing, so in the end we had to quickly shove them into the sink at the studio to try and clean them up.

"At the cake smash, each child's colour was first designated to them at their newborn 'rainbow babies' photoshoot, with the term 'rainbow baby' referring to children born following a miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss.

Before conceiving the quadruplets, both mothers had faced issues with infertility and went through the heartache of several miscarriages. When Kylie naturally became pregnant with quadruplets, doctors told her that she was the only woman on the US west coast to be carrying that many babies at once. But soon after giving birth to her quads, the mum was shocked to discover that Virginia had given birth to with the help of IVF just eleven days after her - and remarkably, they were from the same city.

And after discovering each other on a mother's group on Facebook, the pair arranged a time to meet - and the two families-of-seven have been friends ever since.Virginia revealed that the best thing about the two families getting to know each other is the support they can offer each other because they are 'all in the same boat'.She said: "It's been so helpful to know where that is another mum who is going through exactly the same thing.

"We share advice, it's like having a partner. It's been wonderful to have another family go through this journey together."The cake smash was so fun. It really was just organised chaos, that's the only way I can describe it."I think the first rainbow photoshoot was definitely harder, as trying to get eight babies to all go to sleep at once wasn't easy.

"I don't want to go into details but what I can say is that we are going to date each other again."It is too early to talk about love yet. We like each other, and we'll see what will happen in the future. "I am happy that I was lucky with the man who bought my virginity. He is smart, successful and I like older men. Maybe we will travel the world together."
Jasmine believes people selling their virginity has become a worldwide trend and while people could consider cashing in, they shouldn't rush into the decision.
She said: "It was a long process until Cinderella Escorts accepted me and I was waiting even longer for a buyer. But finally, it was worth it.
"I get the impression that it became a trend for women to sell their virginity.
"On the one side, I think it is a part of emancipation. It should not be a taboo that women can do what they want with their bodies.

MASS BURIAL OF CATHOLIC PRISTS, 17 KILLED IN BENUE TO HOLD ON 22 MAY 2018

The Catholic Diocese of Makurdi has fixed May 22, 2018, for the mass burial of the two Catholic priests and 17 others killed by armed herdsmen at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church.  

The Chancellor of Makurdi Diocese, Reverend Father Jude Ortese, who made the announcement, said the burial will take place at the holy pilgrimage centre in Ayati, Benue state. 

Recall that two priests, Rev Father Gor Joseph and Fr.Felix Tyolaha and 17 parishioners were killed by suspected herdsmen that stormed the church during early morning mass

Man sliced to death by helicopter that came to rescue him( video inside)

A man who survived a helicopter crash was sliced to death by the blades of another helicopter when the aircraft arrived to rescue him during a rescue mission last Sunday.

The victim's own helicopter crashed in a remote part of the southwestern Cauca District in Colombia and he and another man were stranded in the hillside for seven days after their craft broke down with technical issues. They had managed to survive for the week before another helicopter was sent out to find them and retrieve their crashed helicopter, which had been carrying valuable equipment.

There had been four successful visits by a rescue chopper to retrieve equipment. But as the chopper arrived on the fifth rescue mission the aircraft flipped over and the blade sliced the man, killing him. 

The horrific moment was captured on video. It shows two technicians standing next to the remains of their downed helicopter, waving their hands to direct the rescuing helicopter safely to the ground. The victim, Ivan Andrés López Londoño, can be seen in white with his arms in the air as the black helicopter descends. Suddenly, the aircraft tips to the side and rolls over, with López Londoño hit by the rotating blades just out of shot.

López Londoño, who reportedly worked as a maintenance manager for the helicopter company, died at the scene. The pilot suffered a wrist injury and bruising when the helicopter overturned, and was transferred to hospital.

Local authorities have launched an investigation to establish the cause of the accident.

A Deputy Governor In Kenya Caught In Bed With A Married Woman(video inside)

A deputy governor Krinyaga Kenya, Peter Ndambiri is in a sex scandal after he was allegedly caught with a married woman.

An explicit video of the couple is also making rounds on social media.

In the video, Mr Ndambiri and his partner are seen completely naked as they were being beaten up by some group of men including the lady’s husband. Mr Ndambiri revealed that he had no idea the woman was married but confessed to have slept with the woman multiple times.

The police have denied claims that an explicit video of the deputy governor doing rounds on social media was reported to them.

Super Human: A 7-Year-Old Gets 5 Organ Transplant In One Operation

Little Jay Crouch is called “super-human” by his mum after having five organs transplanted in one operation. The seven-year-old is one of the youngest patients in the world to have the “incredibly rare” procedure.

He received two kidneys, a liver, a pancreas and a small intestine from an even younger donor child.

The five organs were removed in one “block” – meaning there were just six connections needed to attach them to Jay’s arteries in the ten-hour operation at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

He is learning how to eat and swallow, starting with a slice of buttered toast.
Little jay, who is a Leicester City fan, had been in and out of hospital his entire life after his small intestine twisted and died when he was just six weeks old. His internal organs were so badly damaged he had to be fed through a tube in his stomach for years.

Jay’s mum, Katie Freestone, was told he would die without a transplant. The 28-year-old got a call in March to say a matching donor – a young child who had died – had been found.
Surgeons warned Katie, from Market Harborough, Leics, that Jay would face months of gruelling recovery. But he was discharged from hospital this week, just one month after the life-saving transplant took place.
She describes Jay as “my little super-human”.

Katie told the Mirror: “When I got the call, I cried, because I knew it was a smaller donor and that’s so sad. “You can’t express your gratitude enough towards them. There are not enough words. “Without the organs, Jay would not have survived. Saying thank you really doesn’t cover it. We don’t know much about the donor at all. All we know is it was a child smaller than Jay. “If the parents wanted to meet I would love to meet them. But right now I want to leave them to grieve because they have just lost a child.” She said.
Katie who is separated from Jay's dad said she suspected there was something badly wrong with baby Jay when he struggled to feed and go to the toilet days after being born. Her “world fell apart” when he fell seriously ill aged just six weeks – leaving doctors at Kettering General Hospital baffled at first. “He suddenly went floppy and lifeless and was vomiting bile,” said Katie

“We called the ambulance and got him to hospital. It was terrifying as he was such a tiny baby. “Jay at that time was dying. They did all the tests for meningitis , but didn’t check for a bowel problem. “After quite a few hours he ended up having a cardiac arrest and was fighting for his life. It took four hours for him to be stabilised enough to be transferred to the Leicester Royal Infirmary. “They still didn’t know what was wrong with him so they did some exploratory surgery and discovered the small intestine had died. “He was then placed on parenteral nutrition feeding into his veins, unable to eat or drink. As a complication, he got kidney failure, which has progressed.
“The PN feeding also destroyed the liver, so in the summer of 2016 they deemed him poorly enough to go on to the transplant list. We had a wait of 15 months before we got the call. “For the bowel, it needed to be a small donor, smaller than Jay, because you have to fit the whole small intestine inside. In the last few months his kidneys were really struggling, so if he didn’t have the transplant when he did we probably would have lost him.”
The way the operation was carried out means Jay now has four kidneys and two pancreases in his body.He will spend the next six months at home to minimise the risk of infection as his recovery continues. “We are in isolation to make sure he doesn’t pick up anything.” Katie said.

On how the transplant was carried out, the surgeon, Khalid Sharif said: The surgery is so rare that Birmingham Children’s Hospital say it is 20 years since they last carried out a transplant like Jay’s. His liver while the kidneys, pancreas, liver and intestine were being removed from the donor. The new set of organs were attached to Jay’s aorta in his stomach, giving him a blood supply from the heart. The blood went back to heart via the vein coming out of his liver. The small intestine was attached to his bowel and then surgeons had to wait. “There are two connections from the vessels’ points of view. One artery gives the blood to all five organs and one vein takes the blood out of it.

“There are two points to join the intestine and two to join the juice from the new kidneys to the bladder. “You need to see all the organs linking up together. If one is not doing it, that’s really heart breaking, because you do not know what is going on.”
Jay’s grand dad Tony Freestone, 58, is looking forward to introducing his grandson to the joys of food. He joked: “I’ve discussed going for a chicken vindaloo at some point, which he is not so keen on.”
